  • Eligible for public housing
1st Annual Golf Event
Please join us at our 1st Annual Golf Event, September 19, 2022, at Clustered Spires Golf Club, 8415 Gas House Pike, Frederik, MD for a fun day of networking, fellowship, and GOLF. For $125 per golfer, all will receive a light breakfast, lunch use of practice facilities, and 18 holes of golf. Lunch will be served after the tournament, followed by raffle drawing, door prizes, and individual and team prizes. Registration is at 8:00am with a shotgun start at 9:00am. Prizes include $10,000 or a trip for two to Myrtle Beach for hole-in-one, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, men’s and women’s longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin. Meet Doug Gardiner, one of our golfers and Advocates’ Board member.

Opportunity to Serve on Board Committees
Are you concerned about homelessness and poverty in Frederick? You can help! Advocates for Homeless Families, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower motivated families to overcome homelessness, is seeking new Board committee members for a one- or more- years to serve on Board committees and to further our mission to achieve permanent solutions to homelessness in Frederick County.
